About Melodic DJ

I have been booked for dj-ing on all types of party events for many years and have a lot of experience, knowledge about playing the right kind of music that works the crowds on the dance floor.  I dj a lot of weddings, corporate events, birthdays, private and exclusive parties, bars and clubs playing through the decades of top mainstream music dance floor fillers.  I have a large collection of alternative music for a more specialised party spanning over four decades from the 70s, 80s, 90s 2ks.  Dj-ing British and American soul, jazz, funk, boogie, smooth jazz sets which are easy listening for laid back events or to set the mood on early warm ups.  Rare disco grooves, rnb, soul, disco classics and upfront nu disco inspired by leading dance labels like defected and hed kandi sounds.

In my earlier years I have worked for a disco sound PA and lighting company where I learnt about the technical side of equipment.  I worked with a production team setting up sound systems and lighting for dj events in clubs, bars and exclusive parties.  I work with some of finest djs in and around London, some of them connected with Radio 1 and Kiss FM.
